Fellow members and supporters of the Grassroots Movement for Tinunbu 2027 (GMT) Ondo State,
I write to address a disturbing trend of misinformation and divisive tactics employed by a group of online bandits, led by Emorioleye Owolemi, Benson Atere, and others. Their recent attempts to create false impressions and sow discord within our movement are not only malicious but also a testament to the effectiveness of our efforts in mobilizing support for President Tinunbu's second term.
Let us revisit the genesis of this malicious campaign. These individuals started spreading false information about Hon. Saka Yusuf, claiming he was sacked at Federal Medical Center (FMC) Owo, when in fact, he has never worked nor obtained contracts at FMC. This was a clear attempt to tarnish his reputation and credibility. Now, they have shifted their focus to making baseless allegations of #250millions against our State Coordinator, Mr. Saka Yusuf, in a bid to destroy his good work.
I ask, what is the motivation behind these actions? Is it a twisted sense of compensation for serving God and humanity? We know that our movement is built on the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability, and we will not let these online bandits distract us from our mission.
Under Mr. Saka Yusuf's leadership, GMT has made tremendous strides in mobilizing the people of Ondo State to support President Tinunbu's second term. Our efforts have yielded significant results, and we will not be deterred by these malicious attempts to undermine our progress.
To our members, I urge you to remain focused and vigilant. Do not be swayed by these baseless allegations and propaganda. We are a movement built on truth, justice, and fairness, and we will not engage in mudslinging or character assassination.
To Emorioleye Owolemi, Benson Atere, and their cohorts, I say, your efforts are futile. We will not be intimidated or divided. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that President Tinunbu gets the support he needs to deliver on his promises to the people of Nigeria.
Let us stand united and resolute, and together, we can achieve greatness for our party, our state, and our country.
