Federal Appointments: Ondo Lawmaker Hails Jimoh Ibrahim's Ambassadorial Nomination, Congratulates Sola Iji


Appreciates Tinubu for considering Ondo APC Aborigines for international assignment 

...Attributes the success to Gov Aiyedatiwa, Adetimehin's leadership virtues 

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji, the lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, has welcomed the nomination of the Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim Folorunsho as Federal Ambassador designate. 

The Chairman House Committee on Information also congratulated an Ondo State APC Aborigine, Barr. Sola Iji as he was also made alongside others in the presidency's international assignmen row.

Speaking in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary in Akure, Ifabiyi attributed the success to the leadership virtues of the Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and the state chairman of the ruling party, APC, Engr. Ade Adetimehin.
  
He described former Nigeria's Ambassador to Togo and the serving Ondo South senator as staunch advocates who have consistently championed the rights of common men in the State and beyond.

Ondo State House of Assembly's spokesperson said the that the appointments of the two APC statesmen are in recognitions of their unwavering dedication, loyalty, and hard work to the party, APC, both in the State and at the same time, in the national political corridor.

“Dr Jimoh Ibrahim and Ambassador Sola Iji have consistently demonstrated their commitments to the growth of our great party, APC, and development of our State. Ambassador Iji’s relentless efforts in championing the cause of party's growth in Ondo  politics have not gone unnoticed. The appointment of the two leaders serve as a well-deserved reward for their outstanding services".

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji, however, commended President Bola Tinubu for considering the two-worthy leaders of the state for such significant National assignment. 

The lawmaker, therefore, expressed confidence that both senator Jimoh Ibrahim and Ambassador Sola Iji's wealth of experience and passion for development of the nation will make a meaningful impact on the national stage.

“As we look forward to the tenure of the two big fish as Nigeria Ambassadors, we have every confidence that they will continue to work tirelessly in advancing the interests of the nation". 

“These appointments not only reflect the trust placed in the senator Ibrahim and Ambassador Iji but also serve as an inspiration to other party faithful across our nation. We kindly urge the National Assembly to consider the speedy confirmation of their appointment.” The lawmaker said. 

The Chairman House of security and Community development at the state chamber, congratulated Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim and Ambassador Sola Iji and wished them success in their new roles.
