Former executive members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ondo State at the weekend, pledged their unalloy loyalty to the minister of interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, vowed to support the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election in the country.
The union made the disclosure when its members paid a courtesy visit to the State Director General of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu, (GMT), Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye at his country home in Oba-Ile in Akure North Local Government Area of the state.
Members of the state executive of the union who served under the late Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, however, extolled Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for his stern proficiency with leadership acumen.
Receiving in the audience of transport workers, Ondo State Director General of GMT, Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye appreciated the union for aligning with the leading political movement in the state ahead of 2027 general elections in the country.
While commending the leadership style of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Ogunleye also expressed confidence that the Ondo state chapter of GMT is working round the clock in ensuring that the group deliver for President Bola Tinubu as Nigeria await another presidential poll next year.
