As Tinubu Axes Akinjo on Commission's List
.....Commends Aiyedatiwa,Adetimehin for Standing Firmly Amidst Incertitude
The approval of Otito by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday came on the heel following a serial protests by different APC supported groups over the announcement of Kolade Akinjo of the People's Democratic Party, PDP as State representative nominee of the board which got stakeholders of the ruling party in the state infuriated.
Describing the emergence of the immediate past house member as NDDC representative designate, Hon Ifabiyi noted that the nomination of Otito Atikase would be of huge advantage for people at the oil rich region and for general overhauling of Ondo State
The chairman house committee on public account at the Ondo state assembly explained that the nomination of Otito to fill the page of Ondo at the NDDC was as a result of his numerous track records since he became the chairman of Ilaje local government area,and consequently member of the ninth assembly.
While commending the State Working Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC,and its subsidiary associates in the wake of the amendment,Hon Ifabiyi stressed that it would be an absurd for the state chapter of the party if an opposition could take advantage of such position in expense of vibrant APC loyalists in the state which he classified as abnormality and detrimental.
The former special adviser to governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on commerce and industry, however commended president Bola Tinubu for his prompt intervention by axing Akinjo for Otito on the NDDC board list on the premise of non-partisanship , describing the new portfolio of the immediate past Ondo legislator as a well deserved.
The lawmaker also appreciated Ondo State Acting governor, Hon Lucky Ayedatiwa and state chairman of the ruling party Engr Ade Adetimehin for their firm stands during the incertitude period, just as he prayed God to give Otito Atikase Thompson wisdom and strength to fly the flight to an enviable height.
