The federal lawmaker is a kinsman to Ondo State governorship aspirant, Hon Wale Akinterinwa and,current member representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo federal constituency in Abuja.
Addressing representatives of the eleven wards at a popular hotel in Ore,Hon Adefiranye brokered Akinterinwa's governorship ambition which he said beyond anyone's doubt.
The chairman house committee on pilgrims at the national hallow chamber,while wooing them for Hon Akinterinwa ahead of APC primary election as slated for April, confirmed to those party loyalists that his principal remain the next, popular and authentic aspirant to fill the Ondo state governor's stool when Akeredolu's tenure expires by February 2025.
While enjoining those supporters to be steadfast and committed to the assigned task,and that the glory of the latter will surpass the former,he noted that the governor hopeful would do all his best to resuscitate and pitch high all dying factors for socioeconomic sustainability of Ondo state far beyond speculation.
Accordingto him:"Your presence here this evening bordered on how we can create intimacy to ensure my mentor, Hon Wale Akinterinwa emerge party's candidate, and winner in the slated November 2024 governorship election
May I share this with you,my principal is ready to touch many lives positively,and our dear sunshine state would regain its status back
He knows what it takes to make to state enjoy better socioeconomic progress,and he's up to the task
Give him what you have as individual,and you shall taste the goodies of good governance
He's ready to make more life to our deteriorating economy to better our lives".
In his comment,Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji of Ondo state house of assembly who also spoke about trends in political circle of the state,asked people of mthe state to go back to their drawing board, saying only Odigbo and Ileoluji/Okeigbo local governments has neither produce governor nor the deputy governor out of the six councils that made up of Ondo south senatorial district.
Hon Ifabiyi, however called on APC members in Odigbo local government and the state to commence door to door campaign for Hon Wale Akinterinwa to enhance the desired result by April,and consequently November general election as stipulated in the election's timetable by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
