....Says his indelible marks on people of Ondo state still resonating
A serving lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP), has penned a glowing tribute to former commissioner for finance in the state, Hon. Wale Akinterinwa, as he marks 63 years of age, extolling his virtues and distinguished personality.
The Chairman Standing Committee on information who acknowledged Wale Akinterinwa’s administrative excellence, noted in a congratulatory message issued by his Spokesperson,on Friday, that the indelible marks he made in the lives of people while in public service, and contributions to the development of Ondo state continue to be appreciated and resonated by good people of the state.
He celebrated a former APC governorship aspirant in the last gubernatorial election in the state for the value he has added to governance in the various public positions held in the past, noting how his tireless efforts to improve lives made a lasting impact on the people of Ileoluji, Ondo state and Nigeria as a whole.
“On this auspicious occasion of his birthday, I join friends, family and well-wishers to congratulate a committed public servant, Hon Wale Akinterinwa. His birthday is a moment to relish his steadfast devotion to the service of the people, and also, recognize the immense values that his genuine commitment to public service offers”.
“As a finance commissioner, Wale Akinterinwa showed sincere understanding to governance, and this helped provided the needed stability that aided the many accomplishments of the Late Governor of Ondo State,Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu’s administration. he remains a sturdy example of what partnership should look like in our political climate.
“In his role as the commissioner for finance, Mr. Akinterinwa showed outstanding sense of duty, navigating through extreme conditions to get the job done. I am so impressed by his impressive public records.” the statement noted.
Ifabiyi Olatunji,in his remarks, however, prayed for member of the Nigeria Economic Council (NEC) to continue to enjoy the unfailing grace of God that has steered him up to this point, while urging him to take the moment of his birthday to “reflect on his accomplishments and the positive impacts on the people over the years” to sustain service to humanity.
