The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation, Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Ondo State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urging them to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, peace, love, unity, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
In his goodwill message, Odusola-Stevenson described Eid-el-Kabir as a sacred season that reminds humanity of the enduring values of obedience, compassion, tolerance, and selflessness. He noted that the festival offers another opportunity for Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to strengthen the bonds of unity and work collectively for the peace, progress, and development of society.
The OSRC boss called on Muslim faithful to continue praying for the peace, stability, and prosperity of Ondo State and Nigeria, especially at a time when the nation requires collective support, understanding, and patriotism to overcome its socio-economic and developmental challenges.
According to him, the teachings of Eid-el-Kabir should inspire citizens to demonstrate kindness to one another, extend support to the less privileged, and promote harmonious coexistence within their communities.
Odusola-Stevenson also commended the administration of Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for its commitment to inclusive governance, infrastructural development, and the implementation of the “OUR EASE Agenda,” which he said continues to positively impact the lives of residents across the state.
He reaffirmed the commitment of OSRC Media Group to promoting responsible journalism, cultural harmony, and people-oriented broadcasting that supports government policies while also giving voice to the aspirations of the people. Under his leadership, OSRC has continued to witness transformation in digital broadcasting, staff welfare, infrastructure renewal, and public engagement.
The media executive urged Nigerians to use the festive period to reflect on the importance of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and national unity, stressing that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and cooperation.
“Eid-el-Kabir is not just a celebration; it is a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to God. As we celebrate, let us remember the importance of compassion, tolerance, and service to humanity. I encourage all Muslim faithful to continue to uphold these noble values for the growth of our society and the unity of our nation,” he stated.
Odusola-Stevenson further wished Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration, praying that Almighty Allah accepts their sacrifices, answers their prayers, and grants the nation enduring peace and prosperity.
