Gov Akeredolu Calls For More Synergy Amongst Security Agencies





Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has called for more synergy and effective collaboration amongst Security Agencies in order to prevail over the current spate of insecurity in the country.

 Governor Akeredolu made the call while speaking as Special Guest of Honour at a Retreat organized by Ondo State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for it's officers .

The governor who was represented by his deputy,Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa delving on the subject matter of the Retreat: Tactics and Safety Skills Enhancement as a Tool for Tackling Contemporary Security Challenges, was held at Nigeria Air force Base, Ipetu Ijesha, Osun State maintained that for Nigeria to defeat insecurity in many parts of the country there must be synergy between all the security agencies.



Aiyedatiwa disclosed that, the Country for now, craves for cohesion and professionalism amongst Security Agencies for optimal performance.

He noted that, Ondo State Government's robust partnership with Security Agencies in the State, has greatly improved the security strength in the Sunshine State.

While commending the organizer for the thoughtfulness in putting together the Retreat, the Deputy Governor said, the retreat would enhanced the capacity of the officers.

Other personalities at the event are, Commandant, Nigerian Air force Institute of Safety, Air Commodore Frank Ankeli, Ondo State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ahmed Abodunrin, Commander, 209 Quick Response Group, Squadron Leader, Ikenna Ezendu, representative of 32 Artillery Brigade Command, Akure, Major E.K Cleopas and other top Security officers.
