....Pays special tribute to the orderly's family
Commends IG,Ondo CP, others for the honour
Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, the lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly,has decorated his Police Orderly Mr. Olowosunmoye Olaleye Johnson, with his new rank as Police Sergeant.
Olowosunmoye was recently Promoted to the new rank by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
The lawmaker during the decoration ceremony in Akure congratulated his orderly on the promotion as sergeant, just as he paid special tribute to family of the newly promoted officer, whom he said is playing vital roles when not available most times because of the nature of his job.
“I am very happy that you are among those that earned promotions.
I want to congratulate you because it is not easy, out of hundreds of thousands of people, just a few were promoted,” he said.
Speaking further,Ifabiyi said, “Let me also congratulate your family, who have been bearing the brunt as you move around. I know that my Orderly, his family is always alone.
"Most of the times, family members bear the house's responsibilities"
"We are not taking you for granted; we thank you for the support and thank all the women who support their husbands.”
In his remarks, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji commended the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetkun, Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Lawal, people of Odigbo Local Government Area and other residents of the state for the honour done to the officer.
He expressed confidence that the officer will not disappoint the authorities in his new rank.

"He has been working hard before now, and I know that he will even work harder,” the lawmaker affirmed.
In a televise message to congratulate Mr Olowosunmoye Johnson,wife of the lawmaker, Mrs Esther Ifabiyi described the celebrant as a dedicated and committed police officer who always show commitment while on his official duty.
Reacting, the newly promoted officer, sergeant Olowosunmoye Johnson, however, dedicated his new rank to God and his family.
Also present at the decoration ceremony include; Ifabiyi Olakunle, domestic staff of the lawmaker and other well-wishers
