The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC Ondo State Command, on Sunday, arrested eleven suspected oil bunkers including two underage with adulterated diesel at Ijuosun, in Irele Local Government area of the State.
Parading those suspects at its Base in Ijuosun before journalists, one of the suspects identified as Daniel Raphael, told newsmen that he was asked to toll a boat containing adulterated diesel, argued that unti his arrest by men of anti-vandal team of Civil Defense Corps,he was not conscious about the contents packed in nylons.
Two other suspected oil bonkers, Famous Godwin and Eyefiwei Emetroghen who confessed to the crime, said this make their first attempt to engage in oil theft before they were was nabbed nothing that they joined the illegal business for survival.
The duo also explained that the reason for engaging themselves in adulterated diesel business is due to lack of job.
Meanwhile, as at the time of this report,those suspects have been transferred to NSCDC's command headquarters in Akure,the Ondo State capital for proper interrogation investigation.
Some of those adulterated diesel seized by men of anti-vandal team of NSCDC were contained in both nylons and jerricans.
