The Ondo State Government has restated it's commitment to create and sustain a culture of overall development of the State.
Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa while representing the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, stated this in his Office while hosting Igoba Community Development Council, Akure, who paid him a courtesy visit on Tuesday.
Igoba is one of the community in Akure North Local Government.
At the event with Deputy Governor are, Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, Chief of Staff to Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele and Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Hon Dele Ologun.
According to Aiyedatiwa, Ondo State government has consistently demonstrated it's commitment to the overall development of the State through its legacy projects particularly in infrastructure, social welfare, security, education, etc, an epoch defining accomplishments revealing the value the governor added to governance.
Aiyedatiwa assured Igoba Community that, there are lots of projects and programmes particularly improvement on their roads that would soon come into fruition .
He equally told his guests that, the State through Ministry of Energy, Mines and Minerals Resources is collaborating and engaging relevant agencies in working out a positive solution to the issue of estimated billng instead of Pre-paid bill in the community.
Earlier, the community monarch, Oba John Adinlewa Adeniyi appreciated Governor Akeredolu on his elevation from Olu to the status of crown Oba.
The traditional ruler amongst his requests, emphasized on additional secondary school for the community, of which the Deputy Governor assured that the request will be looked into and appropriate steps taken to address the issue.
