Families, caliber offriends christian colleagues in Iyere-Owo,Ondo State have described Late Deaconess Deborah Anike Makun, as a societal developer among her contemporaries whose influence has positively impacted many lives both within the State and across the bridge.
Those member publics made the recognition shortly after lowering the remains of Late Deaconess Deborah Anike Makun to the grave as part of paying her last respect at her residence,in Iyere-Owo, Owo Local Government Area of the State.
One of the breaved family and the eldest son to the Late deaconess, Mr Ojo Johnson in his tribute at the reception which was held at the Anglican Primary School, Iyere-Owo,described his Late mother as dynamic and intellectual woman that always with positive thoughts on how her home can surpass above social and economic challenges.
Ojo Johnson who also doubled as the Managing Director, JONNEX VENTURE WORLDWIDE,further explained that until her death, Deaconess Deborah Makun always envisage on how her children could be placed high, noting that some of her giant contributions have earned every member of the family with huge advantage in one way or the other.
"I am deeply sadden in heart that my mother, Deaconess Deborah Anike Makun left us at the time we really need her. Though, God knows more than us.
She was a generous woman among her contemporaries.
She always imagine how her children can survive,prevail over socioeconomic problems as a closet parent. In fact,we have lost a rare gem"
Earlier,three other children, Mr Segun Samuel, Mrs Makun Olajope Helen and Mrs Onatayo Esther Gbemisola,while also addressing newsmen prior after the burial service which came up at the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke-Alaafia Zonal Headquarters, Iyere-Owo ,identified Late Deaconess Deborah Makun as a true servant of God in His vineyard who devoted most of her times to serve God until her last breath.
The trio also posited that their mother, having known God till the last minute,it is believed that she would be at the shoulder of Abraham till Judgement Day.
Those children, therefore appreciated all well-wishers who conjoined and contributed to the success of the slated final programme and celebrate the life of their Late mother, praying God for a safe voyage to their various destinations.
"Our Late Mummy is believed to be a true God's daughter. She devotes her time to serve in His vineyard till when she returned back to her creator
Well,we appreciate everyone gracing this occasion,and it is our prayer that they should go back to their various homes unarmed". The children said.
Across sessions of family members, colleagues and CAC family in Iyere-Owo therefore prayed, God to grant the departed soul an eternal rest,watch over those children left behind and the Church of God in general.
Late Deaconess Deborah Anike Makun who died peacefully at 74,was survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
