GLITZ GLAMOUR IN ODIGBO, AS GOLDEN NOBLE FC BEATS All STARS 1:0 TO END ROTIMI CANADA 2022 SEASON

There was glitz and glamour on Sunday at the Odigbo Township Stadium when the Golden Noble FC beat  All Stars of Odigbo  1-0 in the final match of the Rotimi Canada 2022 Football Tournament season.

The first phase of the match ended with goalless draw in the first forty-five minutes, thereby making each coach of the team told players to redouble their efforts in making a difference.

At sixty-two minutes of the second half, the Golden Star FC secured a chance through a free kick advantage, net up at the topmost bar of Odigbo All Star's box eighteen, thereafter assisted by a mid feeder from opposing side who teared down the net.

The Golden Star FC held the chance till the last ninety minutes of play which made it team won the trophy.

Presenting the Golden Cup to Golden Star FC at the Odigbo Township Sport Complex after the final round, Head of the Officials who also doubled as parent of the All Progressives Grand Alliance's House of Representatives standard bearer Ileoluji/Okeigbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency,Hon. Rotimi Ade Akinwamide,High Chief Odofin Akinwamide congratulated the Golden FC for the success recorded, tasking to keep the flag flying in their footballing endeavours.

Chief Odofin Akinwamide equally congratulated the Odigbo All Stars for reaching the final stage of the tournament, also charging them not to be weighed down by the outcome of the game, saying in any contest,there must be a winner.

The Ileoluji-born traditional cabinet member alongside with other political supporters to the House of Representatives standard bearer under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Hon Rotimi Ade Akinwamide including a closed ally,  Akinsayo Akinradewo affirmatively described the hopeful Reps member as the only candidate among his political running mates best for the job.


Across sessions of spectators at the ground finale of Rotimi Canada 2022 Football Tournament therefore called on electorates in Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Local Government Areas of the State to make their votes count for Rotimi Ade Akinwamide of APGA in the forthcoming House of Representatives Election as slated for 2023.
