At the fifth anniversary and Award Winning ceremony which was held at Ronke Toyo International Hotel and Suites Ore the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo, chairman of the association, comrade Toye Dahunsi explained that Hon Mrs Eucharia Nwamara has really proved her political strength in the area of her political proliferation, community development and ethnicity integration.
Comrade Dahunsi also described the awardee as woman of astute, socialite and advocator of women inclusive in politics for alienation of gender inequality in good governance in political tenacity in Odigbo, hailed Mrs Eucharia Nwamara for making political incorporation a reality among politicians in the area.
Speaking on breaching gender gap crusade of Ondo State First, Comrade Dahunsi commended Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu for her tremendous impacts in making women more relevant in political arena and advocate for justice in other segments of human's endeavours.
On how to avoid sanction,litigation or legal prosecution by hotel and relaxation Centres, a representative of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA Aniyeloye Aderonke,advised the association to proclaim the war against drug abuse and its illegal businesses.
Mrs Aniyeloye Aderonke also charged hotel owners in Odigbo Local Government area of the State to be vigilant and not to be induced with money by those who specialise in illicit drug business as the commission would not treat any case of drug trafficking fairly with offenders.
On the need for Nigerians to take security of life and properties serious before, during and after festive season,the Commander of the Southwest Security Network, codenamed Amotekun Corps in Ondo State, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye told all hoteliers and fellow Nigerians in Odigbo not to undermine any strange movement around them which may later result to social unrest of the people.
The special Adviser to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Security Matters who was represented by Odigbo Local Government commandant of the Corps, Pastor Emmanuel Ogundana urged owners of relaxation Centres in Odigbo Council area to keep all fingers crossed with all relevant security agencies in combating crimes and criminalities, adding that a nation can only get rid of crime when there is a collective efforts of both anti-crime agencies and the citizens.
Dignitaries in attendance were Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Women's Affairs,Hon Mrs Adeniran Kehinde, the Orunja of Odigbo Kingdom, Oba (Dr) Rufus Adegboyega Akinrinmade, members of the Nigerian Police Force, representatives of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, drivers, artisans and general publics.
