AYETORO COMMUNITY CONDEMNS INCESSANT SEA INCURSION, CRIES OUT TO BUHARI, AKEREDOLU,RELEVANT AGENCIES FOR URGENT INTERVENTION

.......Laments Profusely over the Effects Posing on Residents

Again,residents of Ayetoro Community in Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State have cried out to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Minister of Natural Disaster and Humanitarian,Ahjia Zinab Ahmed over the incessant sea incursion ravaging the town for over one and half year.

The residents also called on Ondo State Government, the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, the leadership of the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Community,OSOPADEC and other relevant agencies to come to their aid in order not to allow Ayetoro to go into extinction.

The community made the plea through its Public Relations Officer, Prince Victor Akinluwa in a viral visual clips made available to loveleadsnews on Thursday.

Prince Akinluwa in a sympathetic comment explained that the surge had made several residents fled away for their lives,hinted that the community as best known as the most hospitable for other Nigerians and people across the globe has been washed away by the sea.

The immediate past monarch's son, however, noted that the incident had destroyed houses,schools,worship centre, market,and the only recreation center of Ayetoro Community.

He stressed that no fewer than one thousand houses and other several social amenities that are self-help projects, enjoyed by the community had been destroyed, resulting into untold dislocation of residents.

"This is Ayetoro,the water has washed away more than average of our community"

"We are using this opportunity to appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari, ministry of natural disasters and Humanitarian services and Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to help avert this menace"

"Ayetoro Community is a glorious town that everybody loves to live because of its economic stance"

We hereby tender our sincere supplications before all relevant agencies to curb the menace so that Ayetoro would not go into extinction. Prince Victor Akinluwa appealed.

Ayetoro community PRO therefore,called on the presidency and Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, of Ondo State to urgently rescue people at the riverine area by proffer needed solution through the construction of embankment to stop the ravaging sea incursion in the area which had rendered many homeless.
