Hon Ifabiyi gave the advice in his congratulatory 'Easter Message' to his constituents as received by newsmen at the early hours on Sunday in Ore,the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State in commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ when he paid the greatest prize for sinners against the second death who was tried and crucified on the Cross of calvary.
While highlighting some episodes of agony subjected to by Jesus during his trial,the lawmaker-elect told christians to emulate Christ through perseverance, tolerance and commitment in any assignment apportioned of, noting that everyone would be accounted for what he or she christened to, by God after this sinful World.
Ifabiyi in his stateament also charged christians to always demonstrate the likeness of Jesus Christ particularly in the area of love for mankind,forgiveness and submissiveness if truly they want to rejoice and rest with Him in Paradise thereafter as the action of the only son is a reflection of his redemption for humanity.
Easter Celebration is not for merry making alone but a reflection of how His begotten son who surrendered himself to die for our sins.
I beseech everyone to emulate Christ Jesus by considering some of his characters.
It's a period that called for a sober reflection by individual christian as he was arrested,tortured and crucified despite not sinned". He noted.
Explaining the need for road users to adhere to all traffic rules and regulations before, during,and after the celebrations, Odigbo Constituency I lawmaker-elect enjoined commuters plying major highways in the country to take all precautionary measures as required by the Federal Road Safety Corps act into consideration in order to save lives.
He also used the occasion to urged believers of Christ to utilize Easter season to pray for peace, harmony,unity, prosperity and quick recovery from the current state of economy of the nation and its citizenry, resulting from Naira redesign and cashless policy, introduced by the apex bank, CBN.
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel,however, applauded those who voted for him in the last March 18 State House of Assembly election, insisting that none of his campaign promises would be found wanting as being vowed for during his electioneering campaign crusade, promised to refurbish his political territory for better from its present annihilative status when assume office .
My advice to all commuters plying highways is that safety precautions must be strictly obeyed to avoid loss of lives before,during and after Easter celebration. If you drink, don't drive"
