.....As Ifabiyi Hails State Government's Decision

Addressing those legislators at the opening of a two-days programme, Ondo State Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN,CON said the workshop is primarily meant to enhance excellence legislative performance.
The governor who was represented by his deputy, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa noted that expectations are high,hence the need to prepare the elected lawmakers in the last March 18 State House of Assembly election on the tasks ahead of them, saying members are expected to have complete ideas of lawmaking procedures as well as oversight functions.
Governor Akeredolu earlier of the opening section of the programme,congratulated all the newly elected state cabinets for being victorious in the just concluded poll, urging them to replicate same to their constituencies when resume duty as State legislators.
In an exclusive interaction with Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel,a member elect,he identified the workshop as a prototype of a good wave to keep abreast those members of the tenth State Assembly so that they would be alive to their responsibilities especially in the execution, implementation,ratification,and enactment of laws in the State.
Also at the event were, Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker,Rt Hon David Bamidele Oleyelogun, current majority leader, Hon Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, Special Adviser to Governor on Strategy, Political and Legislative Matter, Dr Jibayo Adeyeye and among others.
The induction programme for the new cabinet members is expected to end on Tuesday, May 30th 2023.
