As wife of Ondo State Governor, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu marks her 70th belated birthday,a state lawmaker,Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji has told Nigerian women to emulate the celebrant in her women's emancipation drive and also for being at forefront of other life enhancing programmes for younger generations both within and outside the State..
The Ondo State House of Assembly member Ifabiyi has also described the celebrant as industrious,intellect and a prototype in the breed of modern democracy and antidote to human related problems.
The lawmaker's attributions was contained in a statement he personally signed onThursday in Akure the state capital on the occasion while joining notable Nigerians to felicitate with Ondo First Lady as she climb 70.
Describing Mrs Betty Akeredolu as advocator of good governance,gender equality,women inclusive in politics and her stride in the fight against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Ondo State cabinet member, however opined that some of her antecedents are significants to the smooth running of the present Akeredolu's led administration in the State.
Acknowledging the fact that the history of the State has been rewritten in a new typeface by wife of Ondo State Governor, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji commended her for promoting girls child education through the annual BEMORE Summer Bootcap, FOWOSO summit, shouldering of burden in the treatment of breast cancer patients, and lots more have save many souls in the State.
He condemned social media assult enthralling the 70th birthday anniversary of Mrs Akeredolu with abnormality through castigation,saying that it is no more a news that this year occasion is celebrated in low key, identified those pointing accusing fingers on First Lady when announcing her birthday anniversary via one of her social media handles as members of opposition parties in the state.
