As RCCG Pastor Says to Christians "The only Pathway to Return Home is Death"
The event which was attended by people of different christian denominations, members of Public school teachers, political associates and friends was held at the church auditorium.
Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji said during the funeral service that it is pertinent that death always brings grief to partner,kins, neighbours,and companions.
The Ondo State house of assembly presiding officer who was represented by a lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency 1 Ifabiyi Olatunji identified the octogenarian deceased,late Madam Julianah Akinsuroju as woman of virtue who never repress her motherhood with her children.
Hon Ifabiyi while donating cash for church edifice on behalf of Ondo State House of Assembly,appreciating God for hefting the family by producing far-famed son like Nelson Akinsuroju,prayed the Almighty to be with the household and at the same time,grant the deceased eternal rest.
Pastor Paul Obembe of the Redeemed Christian Church of God,Freedom Sanctuary Ileoluji,in his short exhortation before Madam Julianah Akinsuroju finally laid to rest,told the congregation that death remain inevitable and the only pathway to return back home for the sixth creature, admitting that anyone born of blood must surely die.
The cleric also asked christians to be more closer to God so that their service before Him will not end in futility,just as he equally urged the family to continue to be in unity,harmony and in love.
The funeral and thanksgiving service was later graced by the Ondo State house of assembly speaker, Rt Hon Olamide Oladiji, house majority leader Hon Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi,other state parliamentarians,commissioner for finance Mr Wale Akinterinwa,local government chairmen,government functionaries, traditional rulers and member publics.
