Says Ondo State is Proud of His Legerity
Barely hours of ministerial inauguration ceremony,Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo resigned from his office as lawmaker representing Akoko northeast/northwest federal house of representatives.
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji,a state legislative member representing Odigbo Constituency 1 while congratulating Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as Interior Minister in a statement issued by his personal assistant on media and publicity,Sam Ajide in Akure the Ondo state capital explained that the attainment is like putting a round peg in a round pole.
The chairman house committee on public account at the Ondo State House of Assembly also noted that the consideration of Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as federal minister by president Bola Tinubu is as a result of his preceding engagements had with people of Akoko northeast/northwest federal constituency.
The lawmaker stated that the people of Ondo State is proud of legerity of the newly sworn in interior minister while acting as member of national assembly in his thrive to ensure that constituents enjoy dividends of democracy by giving scholarship awards to indigents, provision of grants to market men and women and other empowerment programmes for the teeming youths of his constituents.
He also posited that as federal minister of interior,Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo would perform splendidly by using his wealthy experience to integrate Nigerians in unison without parity.
While wishing well the Oyin-Akoko born silver-tongued politician in his federal assignments,Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji however prayer God to give Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo a sound health, working ability that would bring overall best achievements more than the immediate past minister of interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola under president Muhammadu Buhari administration.
"Once again, I congratulate Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as a newly inaugurated interior minister".
"Infact the new portfolio is like putting a round peg in a round pole because the charisma is there for him being an industrious and chap politician".
"Ondo state is blessed for having such illustrious son as federal minister and it's obvious that the achievement is part of his track records whilst serving as member of national assembly".
"Anyway,the duty will not be new to him and it is essential of him to bring those wealthy experience gained to integrate Nigeria as one entity".
"I wish him well in all his endeavours as minister of interior". Hon Ifabiyi stated.
