Nigeria@63:ONDO LAWMAKER IFABIYI URGES NIGERIANS TO KEEP HOPE ALIVE

Eulogises Awolowo,Azikwe,Others For The Move Against Serf,....Hails Tinubu


Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji of Ondo State House of Assembly,has advised Nigerians to continue keeping their hope alive for a new nation-Nigeria by supporting the present administration in the country in prayers and other means in its thrive for a sustainable socio-economic growth and nation-building.

The former special adviser on commerce and industry to governor Rotimi Akeredolu spoke in a speech to congratulate Nigerians at the 63rd Independence Day anniversary in Akure,the Ondo State capital.

Speaking on efforts that was put in place by nationalists who fought for Nigeria's freedom in 1960, Ifabiyi eulogised  Chief Obafemi Awolowo,Dr Nnamdi Azikwe and host others for liberating the country from dictatorship as serfs.

The lawmaker while acknowledging roles played in the movement especially in the wake of gaining independence for Nigeria by valiancy of past heroes,he emphasised that the victory in 1960 was as a product of inalienable unity bonded the main ethnic groups which he termed a secret volant,however took Nigeria to an extremed edge against slave masters.

He also posited that in order for Nigeria to wax stronger and avoid being mocked by the common racists,Nigerians must continue to strengthening the unity, peace and progress,and stand afar of nepotism either by religion,tribe or language,urging the citizens not to dispel.

While applauding president Bola Tinubu of Nigeria and chairman Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS in his efforts at reviving the already down Nigeria's economic and African unity,Ifabiyi also appealed to those calling for military intervention in politics to change their narrative.

In his remarks, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji while praying God to take Nigeria out of its various challenges, called on the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC to shield their planned Tuesday's nationwide industrial action but focus on numerous prospects ahead of the nation.

On this 63 Independence Anniversary I congratulate my fellow Nigerians

It is worthy of note that past heroes has paid the prize in ensuring that Nigeria free from oppressions of colonialists in 1960.

Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikwe to mention a few fought the fight,and their efforts should always be appreciated by reasonable Nigerians.

Remember,we must not be allowed to be mocked again by our fair-skin men. Let's support our system of government.

"Military intervention in this era is needles, pray  and let the labour union has a rethink on the planned strike for the betterment of dear nation Nigeria.
