RESIDENTS CRY LOUD TO ONDO GOVERNMENT,NDDC OVER POOR ROAD NETWORK



***Ask State Lawmaker,Commissioner to Use their Good Offices in the Speed up of Proposed Project

'We're Exciting to See Our Governor Hale and Hearty'..... Residents Express optimisms


Residents of Yaba- Ayegbami and Olupitan streets in Ore have appealed to Ondo state government and the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC to urgently expedite action and construct the One Kilometer road ahead of next year rainy season.

Those residents also urged the lawmaker representing the constituency Hon Ifabiyi  Olatunji and that of commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs Alhaji Amidu Takuro to assist in the speeding up of the proposed project.

Chairman of landlords association in the area Apostle Olafusi Felix gave the appeal after the weekly street meeting as a way forward to the problem of bad road network in the affected community.

Apostle Felix made it clear that vehicles and motorcycles plying Ayegbami Olupitan always find it difficult to manage, noting that this have been causing demagas to tyres and other vehicular parts as they are always be at the receiving end due to the bad state of the road,thereby leaving residents of the area stranded.

"We're only crying to our governor Arakunrin and the NDDC to quickly help us construct this road for the betterment of our people

All shop owners have deserted the street due to its current status

We are pleading on the throne of mercy of Ondo State government to make our road in order before next rainy season

This has being our predicament" He lamented.

Also,a female resident Mrs Sherifat Asakpa and Mr Ogedengbe Olorunbe in separate interviews on the situation lamented vehemently that despite the proximity of the street to the main Ore market,the condition of the road had led many shop owners vacated the area as this had resulted to low or no sales.

The duo pointed out that the low patronage of business owners on the affected streets has paralysed economic capacity of many people in the area, adding that the government should not consider the damage it might cause residents, saying any unauthorized building worth to be demolished should be pull down.

"It will be a thing of joy for us if our governor can help wipe away our tears on this road

We all know him as Mr Talk and Do and believed he would see to our plight". The duo posited

Across session of residents who spoke on negative impacts of the road, however commended governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN CON for his infrastructure drive which has made Ondo state standout among commity of states in Nigeria,just as they unanimously expressed their enthusiasm for the hearty governor
