As Ex-Governorship Aspirant Asks Supporters to Work for the Party
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Wale Akinterinwa has expressed his deepest appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state and the national chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje for their fatherly role in the APC family in Ondo state.
Akinterinwa, who spoke shortly after the flag-off of the governorship campaign rally of the party in Akure, maintained that the APC is one, strong and indissoluble family.
The 2024 governorship aspirant, however,called on his supporters across the eighteen local governments area of the state to work for the success of the APC and its candidate Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in next month's governorship election in the state.
Akinterinwa, in a statement by his spokesperson, Segun Ajiboye, said:
"I want to express my deepest appreciation to the duo of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state and the national chairman of our great party, His Excellency Abdullahi Ganduje, for the fatherly role they played to unite members of the APC family in Ondo state ahead of next month's governorship election.
"I also wish to once again register my appreciation to my supporters and all those who believed in our dreams and commitment to building a united and prosperous Ondo state"
"I hereby call on all members of WA family to go out there and work for the success of our great party, the APC and it's candidate, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the election"
"This was the promise we all made to work and ensure the success of the APC all its candidates in any election".
This step is said to be crucial,as the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, set aside the November 16, 2024 to conduct Governorship Election in Ondo State.
