Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji of Ondo State House of Assembly, has congratulated children in the state, and around the world on the occasion of the Children’s Day celebration.
The lawmaker said the essence of the day is for society to rededicate itself in giving adequate care to children, while paying attention to all issues affecting them.
Hon. Ifabiyi spoke in a statement issued by his media adviser and made public to newsmen on Tuesday in Akure the Ondo State capital.
He reassured Ondo State children the commitment of the present administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to make the right investments that would guarantee them equitable opportunities to attain their full potential.
“The present administration's investments in this regard are visible to all which includes; standard healthcare system and education"
"Not only has this administration blazed the trail in primary healthcare, particularly focusing on the well-being of our children and their mothers"
“It has also committed to a transformative basic education programme to guarantee good learning outcomes for every child of whatever background"
“On top of that are the ongoing school renewal projects across the state and teachers recruitment in our basic and public secondary schools
“All of these will support the dreams of the Ondo child to compete with their peers,” The lawmaker explained.
