Family, Friends, Church Members Give Critiques About Late Osowe
Pastor Otunla gave the warning in a sermon at the wake-keep service organised in honour of late Mrs Yetunde Esther Osowe held at her Idi-mango residence in Ore the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State on Sunday.
The cleric who explained that the wages of sin is death pointed that it is essential for anyone aiming eternal rest to desist from evil way and turn to God ahead of the last call also described death as inevitable for mankind.
At the programme which was well attended by Christian across divides, political associates,friends and family, Pastor Otunla Olawale described Late Mrs Yetunde Osowe as a woman of substance, devoted servant who until her last minutes served God diligently.
In their separate tributes, family representatives,church members, political associates and friends also identified the late matriarch as God-fearing, loyal and dedicated to humanity while she was alive.
In attendance were Ore Ward APC chairman, comrade Tibetan Busayo, other members of Odigbo Local Government chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress, members of the main opposition party, (PDP) in the area, family, friends and other sympathisers.
According to a family source,the remain of late Mrs Yetunde Esther Osowe who died on Friday March 2, 2025 after a protracted ailment is expected to be buried tomorrow at her hometown Modakeke in Osun State.
Meanwhile,the lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency 1 at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ifabiyi Olatunji has mourned the passage of Mrs Esther Yetunde Osowe.
In a statement by his spokeman on Sunday, described the death of late female politician as a rude shock to him and APC family in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state.
He urged relatives of the departed to take solace, praying God to give the immediate family of the late political icon fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
