... Hails Governor Aiyedatiwa over Prompt Payment of Workers' Salary
As the nation celebrates Workers’ Day on Thursday, a member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP), has lauded the state civil servants for their selflessness, resilience and dedication to service in the state.
The lawmaker said the dedication of the civil servants to service had engendered optimum service delivery to the people of the state.
According to him, the leadership of the organised labour in the state showed understanding and courage despite the current dwindling economic.
He posited that the place of workers and their contributions to the socio-economic and political development of Ondo state can not be underestimated,praised the state chapter of the organised labour for its understanding
Ifabiyi who commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for prompt payment of workers' salaries, arreas, and other benefits, noted that this is part of the many reasons why commensurable workers’ welfare package has remained a top priority of the present administration in Ondo State.
The lawmaker also appreciated the state governor over the recent employment in the state's teaching service commission(TESCOM) and the state universal basic education board (SUBEB).
