Ask Concerned stakeholders to reposition security sector to combat insecurity
The Face of African Television, has honoured a member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP),with African Leadership Award,describing his self-assertiveness,uncommon .
Presenting the award to the lawmaker at the OSDPC Multipurpose Hall Ijapo in Akure on Sunday, the convener of the ceremony, Mrs Oluwaseun Olowoselu Akinbileje said the award is in recognition to the lawmaker's invaluable dedication and service to the society.
The renowned journalist noted that if all lawmakers could take a clue from member of the state of assembly, Nigeria will soon become an ‘Eldorado’ where no community would be left out to experience dynamic transformation.
She commended the awardee for his balanced representation, as well for showing special interest in making development a reality which she said is the top priority of the lawmaker's political stride.

Responding, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji lauded the Face of African Television for identifying and appreciating his efforts despite the limited available resources to give back to his people.
The lawmaker noted that his representation will continue to priotise people's welfare and alway give premium attention to any matter affecting his constituents.
Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, however dedicated the honour to God,Governor of Ondo State, Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the people of Odigbo Local Government for entrusting his representation.

A guest speaker, Pastor Ola Olalere Alaba who spoke on hazard confronting farmers across the country,urged governments at all level to urgently expedite action to combat insecurity in order to enhance food security in Nigeria.
While suggesting lasting solutions to various attacks on farmers in some parts of the country,across session of guests, therefore called on concerned stakeholders in Nigeria to devise both traditional and technology tactics in combating the menace.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor of Ondo State, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, commended the convener, Mrs Oluwaseun Olowoselu for selecting people with high cerebral who had immensely impacted their communities with ponderable developments.
The CPS reiterated the commitment of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa led-administration for continued partnership with media organizations and the press as Fourth Estate of the Realm for sustainable socioeconomic development of the State.
During the occasion, the Executive chairman of Odigbo Local Government area of the state,Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye and Irepodun LCDA vice chairman,Hon. Ojo Ayobami were also recognised for their berths in their reputable offices.
