As new branch chairmen pledge good ambassadorship
The Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Ondo State Chapter, Comrade Ademola Odudu, has officially appointed the branch chairmen of the Union in the Southern Senatorial District of the state.
The official inauguration ceremony, held at the secretariat of the union in Akure, the state capital, was attended by eminent stakeholders in the state’s transportation sector, who came to spectate and celebrate the significant occasion.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony , Comrade Ademola Odudu appealed to all the newly appointed chairmen to prioritize proper solemness among members,and urged them not to chase shadow but to foster peace within the union.
While reiterating the essence of peaceful atmosphere and coordinated professionalism in the daily routine of the NURTW in the State, Odudu explained that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is poised to advance transportation sector in all spheres of the state.
The NURTW boss in Ondo State, however,called on all members of the union to cooperate with the state government, exhibit understanding, integrity, and dedicate their time to legitimate duty and avoid any obnoxious attitudes capable of causing social unrest in the state.
In his remarks, comrade Ademola Odudu, therefore, urged all security agencies in the state to be on the watch over anyone or group of individuals who may want to truncate the peace of the state under the guise of NURTW, commended security operatives in the state for the decorum experiencing at the moment.

"Know that the Executive Governor of Ondo State Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa wants the best from us by priotising peace"
"Please, avoid any obnoxious attitude that may capable of jeopardizing the enjoying privilege"
"I beseech all our security agencies to watch over any body who may have plan to forment trouble under the guise of NURTW" Odudu warned.
In their acceptance speech, across session of the newly appointed chairmen expressed gratitude to Governor Aiyedatiwa and the NURTW chairman for entrusting them with the leadership of the position.
The also pledged to be good ambassadors, law-abiding, agents of positive change as well uphold their trust and deliver exceptional services.
