As party members spout on political hurdles among gladiators
Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP),has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to remain united and be in one accord to further strengthen the party and position it for victory in future elections.
Ifabiyi spoke on Monday at a meeting held with stalwarts of the ruling party in Onisere ward 11,the meeting which was held at St. Peter's Primary School Mile 9 Ore,the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area of the state was well attended by APC loyalists across the 18 political units of the ward.
The lawmaker, who noted that the essence of the meeting is to resolve the lingering crisis within Onisere chapter of the APC, called for unity of purpose among party members particularly those who are currently holding political offices.
He appreciated members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the area for their support for the party and the government.
The lawmaker urged APC leaders in Onisere ward to intensify efforts in promoting harmony and addressing grievances promptly to ensure members feel valued and respected.
While expressing satisfaction at the turn out of members at the meeting, Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji encouraged all the party faithfuls to foster for united front in a bid to reelect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria prepares for the forthcoming 2027 general elections
According to him “I am here for two reasons today, first is to foster for unity of purpose among ourselves and, secondly to thank you for your support for the party and for the government of the day"

Speaking earlier, Onisere ward APC chairman, comrade Ifeyemi Fayemi, who broker peace between the warring parties in the affected ward could not hide his excitement, expressed his profound gratitude to government representatives from the area for the meeting convened,urged the lawmaker and another leader Bolodeoku Micheal to sheath swords.
The chairman commended the lawmaker's monumental achievements, which, according to him, have strengthened the APC's reputation of the largest local government area of the state and attracted more supporters to join the progressives party.
Across session of party stalwarts, while describing the unison between the lawmaker and the special assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on produce before the political hurdle orchestrated by some self-acclaimed influencers, adding that efforts made by Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji for decades have created a solid foundation for APC in Odigbo Local Government to thrive in the previous elections in Ondo state.
Those party stakeholders also urged those heating the polity to refrain from any act that can lead to lack of unity ahead of the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
Also at the meeting were; secretary of the party, Mr Olayide Abimbola, special assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on political mobilisation Hon. Najeem Adegboye, Odigbo Local Government legislator from the area Wasiu Kamaru, the 18 units chairmen.
Others includes; Odigbo Local Government APC Public Relations Officer Sunday Adegoke, former councilor of Onisere ward Peter Ajide,and other notable leaders of the ruling party in the area.
