2027: Ondo GMT Youths back Tinubu's re-election bid

....Vow to basket 500,000 votes for the president 

The Ondo State Youth Wing of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) has reaffirmed its unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring its readiness to mobilize at least 500,000 votes for his re-election bid.

Speaking on Monday, GMT Youths Director in the State, Paff Kolade, emphasized that the youths of Ondo State remain committed to President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. Kolade expressed gratitude to the president for appointing prominent Ondo State youths to strategic positions in his administration.

 Paff, a serving South-West Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), appreciated all GMT leaders in the state for their steadfastness and expressed profound thanks to the group’s sponsor, the Minister of Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo (BTO), for his continuous support, empowerment initiatives, and youth-focused programs that have strengthened the movement statewide and across the Nation.

He noted that, under BTO's guidance and the coordinated structure of GMT, youths across the 18 local government areas are actively mobilizing community by community and ward by ward for significant voter engagement.

Paff Kolawole, however, urged all young people in Ondo State to join the movement, asserting that GMT is the most organized and proactive youth political structure in the state. 

According to GMT Youths Director "We are fully prepared. The GMT Youth Wing in Ondo is targeting 500,000 votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. 

"So, we are committed, united, and ready to deliver massively".

In the same vein, a member of another campaign camp, PBAT, in Ondo State and a luminary lawyer, Barrister Tobi Ogubleye, at a youth summit organized by Grassroots Movement for Tinubu, expressed appreciation to the the minister of interior Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for supporting the President Tinubu and his reform programmes. 

Reacting, Director General of GMT in the state, Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, in his goodwill message, explained that youths are the future of the party and the country.

The former commissioner for youths and sports in Ondo State reaffirmed the commitment of GMT on youth inclusion in all its programmes across the 18 local governments areas of the state.

He, however, commended the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his reforms across board, just as he applauded the hounourable minister of interior Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for his doggedness in the provision of social landscape for GMT members and other citizens of Ondo state.
