IFABIYI CELEBRATES EX-ONDO DEPUTY SPEAKER, IROJU OGUNDEJI, ON HIS BIRTHDAY

A member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP), has felicitated with a former Deputy Speaker in the state, Rt. Hon. Iroju Ogundeji, on the occasion of his birthday, describing his predecessor as “an astute politician whose records of service are endearing.

The noted with fondness his acceptance for Rt. Hon. Iroju’s political style, which prioritizes general good above personal interest, applauding him for identifying with the current administration’s concerted effort to reverse the ugly trend of the past and set Ondo State on the course of enviable progress.

He recognised the efforts of his predecessor, particularly the selflessness and contributions of a member of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) to the state development, noting that as the Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ogundeji not only pursued legislations and interventions that enhanced lives but also moved the state forward.

“I celebrate a leader in our great party, the APC Rt. Hon. Iroju Ogundeji, on the occasion of his birthday. On this day, I join family, friends, and associates to honour his life of service and to acknowledge the significant place he holds in our heart,” the lawmaker was quoted as saying in his congratulatory message.

“Rt. Hon. Ogundeji shares the present administration’s goal, particularly the relentless push to upscale and set the pace for a future that everyone will be proud of. I’m proud to associate with him today and hopefully, we will continue to work together for the good of people Odigbo local government.”

Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, however, wished the celebrant a joyous celebration and prays to Almighty God to grant him good health, longer life, and the strength to continue to make contributions to our society, be it in public service or private capacity.
