Odigbo Constituency II Assembly Hopeful, Oyewole Akinpelumi Pledges People-centred Representation

The leading aspirant for the Odigbo State Constituency II in the forthcoming Ondo State House of Assembly election, Hon. Oyewole Joseph Akinpelumi, has pledged to deliver people-centred leadership and quality representation if elected.

Hon.Oyewole Akinpelumi who is jostling for Odigbo Constituency II seat recently declared his intention to contest for assembly race under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC)

Speaking during an engagement with residents of the constituency, the lawmaker hopeful stated that Odigbo Constituency II has for some time suffered from inadequate and ineffective representation at the legislative level.

He assured the electorate that his aspiration is driven by a strong commitment to restore hope and ensure that the voices of the people are heard and properly represented in the Ondo State House of Assembly.

The aspirant emphasised his intention to remain close to the grassroots, noting that governance should be inclusive and responsive to the needs of ordinary citizens.

According to him, effective representation goes beyond lawmaking and must reflect genuine concern for the welfare and wellbeing of the people.

Hon. Oyewole Akinpelumi also highlighted his record of community support, revealing that he has consistently assisted residents through financial supports and other related gestures even before his current political move.

He said these gestures reflect his compassion and long-standing relationship with the people, even before seeking elective office.

Reaffirming his commitment, Hon. Oyewole Akinpelumi promised to be accessible at all times and to provide sound, proactive and effective representation that will attract development and improve the living standards of residents across the Odigbo constituency II.
