The more you try to impress, the more you become depressed, and the more they get tired of your coercion. It doesn't make them love you, instead, they'll see you as a little child, trying to draw a senseless picture on a piece of paper, begging people to look at it and admire it by force. You can persuade someone to look at your face, but you can't persuade them to see the beauty therein.
The Revolution will be live. And where will you be? In the historic pictures being beamed around the world, or watching at home in your comfortable seat, just as you have watched everything else, including your whole life, passing you by. Change isn’t the responsibility of others. It’s yours.
Being confident, well-informed, and in control doesn't make you a "monster". It makes you a strong leader. People fear what and who they can't control.
At some basic level people were no longer seeing me, I realized, with all my quirks and shortcomings. Instead, they had taken possession of my likeness and made it a vessel for a million different dreams. I knew a time would come when I would disappoint them, falling short of the image that my campaign and I had helped to construct.
People can campaign to break you, collaborate to alienate you, even worse, create false testimonies to orchestrate your downfall; but when you are destined for greatness, you will be great, regardless. Never lose faith!
It is pointless and stupid to protest, if you don’t vote. The only way you can fight corruption, unemployment, equal and human rights .
Making sure that you have a good future and good service delivery is through the poll. Make sure you register to vote and make sure that you vote. For a change to happen, it starts by you.
Democracy is pretending to give power to the people, whereas capitalism is pretending not to give the people to those with financial power.
What we have is two important values in direct conflict: freedom of speech and our desire for healthy campaigns in a healthy democracy.
In my free time I am changing the world. For those who thought I was the best candidate but chose to work for someone else because they viewed my campaign as hopeless, they will need to reexamine their thinking for truly, nobody will ever achieve the presidency as long as their potential supporters hold this view.
