Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Akeredolu SAN, as he bagged National Award of Commander Of the Niger, CON, last week.
Comrade Amuda spoke in his office at the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area, Ore,shortly after briefing motorists plying Lagos route on the need to limit their speeds in the ember months, said the recent National Award received by governor Rotimi Akeredolu from the Presidency has inspired many Nigerians on the importance of performing to the expectations of people in government like Ondo State Governor.
Comrade Amuda further pointed that some achievements of governor Rotimi Akeredolu led government since 2017 are visible, accessible and identifiable, noting that all these antecedents have gone a long way in socioeconomic development of Ondo State especially provision and rehabilitation of roads, renovation of dilapidated classrooms in all public primary and secondary schools across the eighteen Local Council Areas, portable water and the establishment of the Southwest Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps to strengthen security architecture of the State against banditry, kidnapping herdsmen/farmers clashes and other related criminalities.
He stressed that the construction of Ore Interchange flyover bridge christened "Redemption Bridge" commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) in 2029 has caused reduction in auto-crash along ever busy Lagos-Benin Highway which had claimed many lives including the pedestrians before the intervention of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu's government.
"I say a big Congratulations to Arakunrin for tye award benefitted from the Presidency. Your performances as Ondo governor since 2017 is countless, most importantly,the interchange flyover bridge in Ore,and other Infrastructural projects
Gone are those days where many lost their lives in road accidents along the ever busy Benin-Lagos road especially during yuletide season. Ore residents can now move freely without being armed with the aid of redemption bridge.
Governor Akeredolu strengthens the security capacity of Ondo State and Southwest in general through the establishment of Amotekun. It's a big welcome development". Comrade Amuda credited.
While also saluting wife of Ondo State Governor, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu on the BRECAN 25th Anniversary, 2022 edition, Comrade Yussuf Amuda described the initiator and its Founder, Ondo First Lady as best Ong her contemporaries female leaders in the country.
He stated that taking the health matters and provision of succours for aged, widows, poor and vulnerable and other less privileged people of the State have critically shown that Mrs Akeredolu is divinely made to put smiles on the faces of those who have economically, physically and mentally rejected in the society.
Comrade Yussuf Amuda, therefore on behalf of other members of OSPMC in Odigbo Local Government Area would continue to complement efforts of the Akeredolu led administration in its policies and programmes.
