Loveleadsnews learnt that member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Mayowa Samuel Akinfolarin and all APC leaders in Odigbo on Saturday engaged those aggrieved councilors in a productive dialogue that lasted for several hours.
News gathered that the Federal lawmaker while addressing audience at the All Progressives Congress, APC party secretariat in Ore, the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area, he advised the parties involving in the altercation to embrace uniformity in their administrative businesses.
Reliable source also told our correspondent that both the Odigbo Constituency I House of Assembly flag bearer of the ruling party, Ifabiyi Olatunji and Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin appealed to those aggrieved local government lawmakers who have being on the logger head with House leader, Tomisin Falolu to resolve any lingering differences for the common goal of the ruling party.
It could be recalled that the Odigbo Local Government councilors had on Thursday suspended Hon Tomisin Falolu for alleging him on eight count allegations bothering on misappropriation of funds,diversion of property, self centeredness,financial impropriety, Prevention of Transparency and Accountability, obstruction of legislative function as well as concealing of unlawful approval of local government budget and conduct Unbecoming of a leader which include smoking and drinking in public and during legislative businesses.
Among other party stalwarts present at the dialogue table include the Honourable Commissioner for Urban and Regional Planning Development, Hon Amidu Takuro, APC Party chairman in Odigbo Local Government, Alhaji Fatai Olawale,former Odigbo Local Government Caretaker Chairman, Hon Samuel Ikumawoyi, APC Youth,Dare Oladeyekun and other party bigwigs.
Also at the closed door meeting were the Local Government Chairman, Mrs Margret Tale Akinsuroju
