As Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and all political parties are all ready for 2023 general elections, Odigbo Local Government chapter of APC Campaign Committee on Thursday canvassed votes for all candidates of the party when taking its campaign and consultation to Ebijaw and Onisere Wards ahead of 2023 presidential and State House of Assembly elections.

Emphasizing the need for all APC members and other well-meaning Nigerians to vote party presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, senatorial Candidate,Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim, Ileoluji/Okeigbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency, Hon Ayodele Festus Adefiranye and State House of Assembly card carrier, Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel, Local Government Chairman of the party, Alhaji Fatai Olawale said it is expected that speedy socioeconomic development is awaiting Nigerians.

The APC chairman in Odigbo Local Government noted that none of the party candidate is incapacitated to represent well if elected, adding that it is now time for southerners to wake from their slumber and take Nigeria to higher land.

Also speaking, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon Amidu Takuro and Odigbo Local Council boss, Deaconess Margaret Akinsuroju who spoke on behalf of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu urged voters to honour the State Government with their votes.

The two governor's representatives also congratulated residents of Ebijaw and Onisere Wards in advance, described Odigbo Constituency I House of Assembly candidate Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel as a committed, dedicated with selfless services since the advent of progressives party, informed them to  reciprocate in good faith in the poll.

Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters Commissioner, however, advised voters to go en masse to recognize themselve vote massively, urging them to avoid voids votes during election.

Speaking on behalf of himself and other APC candidates,the hopeful State lawmaker Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel promised to make positive differences by creating an enabling environments for socioeconomic expansions through microcredit and grants if elected.

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji while assuring APC members and electorates of good governance expressed hope that the future of Nigeria would be better under Asiwaju, noting that this could only be achieved if all cards carriers of the party secure their elective seats, commended Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for the ongoing 13.3 kilometers of road under construction in Onisere.

Reacting, a representative of Oladapo Orisumbare, Pa Niyi Afolayan and Personal Assistant to Chairman Committee on Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC at the Federal House of Representatives Rt Hon Mayowa Samuel Akinfolarin, Hon Adegboye Najeem Adewale said he is confident that Onisere Ward would deliver for APC.

Hon Najeem Adewale,a two time Onisere Ward councilor enjoined party members  in his domain to be exceptional among others Wards to enhance more considerations,and to also consolidate  governor's supports in his Infrastructural development crusade.

During the visit of Campaign Committee of APC to those Wards, members of the main opposition party, PDP and Labour Party were defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in Onisere Ward.
