Prince Jimi Odimayo defeated the incumbent lawmaker representing the Constituency, Hon Gboluga Ikengboju of the People's Democratic Party, PDP with 23572.
According to the results released by INEC, Prince Jimi Odimayo of the APC polled 44,638 to defeat Hon Gboluga Ikengboju of PDP who also polled 21,066.
Similarly, the incumbent Ondo State House of Assembly chief whip Hon Ayodele Festus Adefiranye has also won Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal House of Representatives seat.
Adefiranye of the All Progressives Congress, APC scored 36,147 votes to defeat his rival Hon Adeoye Olatunji Felder of the People's Democratic Party, PDP who polled 19,168 votes.
Recalled that Dr Olatunji Felder of PDP and Hon Festus Adefiranye are from the same Ileoluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area,where both him and former Ondo South senatorial flag bearer Yele Omogunwa lost out to Nicholas Tofowomo of PDP in 2020.
Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim CFR of APC has also won Ondo South Senatorial seat.
Barrister Jimoh scored 110,665 to defeat former Ondo State deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi of PDP who polled 65,784 votes.
