The Ondo State lawmaker-elect, Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel has on Friday,presented his Certificate of Return before Akogbe of Ajue Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Bamidele Akinwe.

Presenting the certificate before the monarch at his Palace in Ajue, Odigbo Local Government area of the State, Ifabiyi appreciated the traditional ruler for standing behind him firmly during the turbulent time, saying his contribution yielded tremendous advantage to win Odigbo Constituency I seat in the just concluded March 18 State House of Assembly poll.

He explained that despite several intimidations, harassments surrounding the last Saturday March 18 exercise by intruders of democracy,lovers of good governance ensure full participation which made APC trumph in the election.

While commending roles played by some traditional rulers in connection with the poll, Ifabiyi exalted Oba Bamidele Akinwe for being supportive, reiterated that the monarch remain the staunch to his achievement.

Responding, the Akogbe of Ajue Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Bamidele Akinwe thanked the people of the Odigbo Constituency I most especially those who sincerely voted for APC candidate, Ifabiyi Olatunji, enjoined them to stick to his political prime in order to enjoy the reward.

The traditional ruler, however, advised the new lawmaker-elect to maintain his political stance, assuring him that his future politics will be brighter than now, prayed God to give Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel wisdom, knowledge, understanding and life longevity to expedite his numerous plans for his constituents when assume office as 10th assembly awaiting June .

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel was accompanied by Odigbo Local Government APC party chairman , Alhaji Fatai Olawale and some APC faithfuls.




In the mid-time, the newly elected State lawmaker also paid Thank You visit to one of APC chieftains,Pa Ayantoye Adejumo some notable leaders all within Ore metropolis for their selfless contributions before, during and after the March 18 State Assembly election.

It would be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had on Thursday, issued 'Certificates of Return' to all the newly elected State lawmakers across the 36 states of the federation.
