..... Oloyelogun, Adetimehin, Adeyeye Commend INEC,Task on Improved Service Delivery in Future Elections

Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji,a candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the just concluded State House of Assembly election,contested Odigbo Constituency I seat, scored 13,967 votes to defeat Dotun Olorunyomi of the People's Democratic Party, PDP who also polled 10,796 votes in the recent March 18 State House of Assembly election.
Ifabiyi spoke shortly after receiving his certificate of return as a duly elected State parliamentarian at the INEC's State office Alagbaka,Akure on Thursday.
He posited that only God can make way for whom he anointed without prejudice, calling on those candidates from opposition parties who lost out in the game to join hands with him and Ondo State Government to move the Constituency, Odigbo Local Government and the State forward.
Hon Ifabiyi Olatunji Samuel while reaffirming his readiness to serve his Constituents and the State better,he promised that his calling as Ondo lawmaker would ever remain indelible by utilizing the benefit of an inclusive government to better the lives of his people when assume office.
Earlier,the INEC national chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu who was represented by INEC commissioner in the State, Oyekola Oyelami charged the new State cabinet members to used the privilege to assist in the judiciary functions of the State especially in the enactment of laws .
The state INEC commissioner, while appreciating all political parties participated in the just concluded poll for their maturity,promised that the commission would continue to give its best to the citizenry.
In his address, Special Adviser on Political Matters,Jibayo Adeyeye on behalf of Ondo State Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN,CON, congratulated the new certified Assembly members for their new status.
On his part, Ondo State House of Assembly speaker, Rt Hon David Bamidele Oloyelogun urged all the lawmakers to act within their capacity and to also represent their people well in their endeavours.
Also,APC party chairman in the State,Engr Ade Adetimehin in his comment, described the strength of electoral umpire during the just concluded presidential and assemblies elections as significant,prayed the body for the job well done.
Across sessions of APC big wigs in the State,however, tasked the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,on Improved service delivery in order to enhance more credibility in future elections.
Reacting on behalf of the members-elect, the Majority Leader in the state house of assembly, Mr Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi who is a ranking member representing Owo constituency-1, assured the people of the state that the lawmakers-elect will not disappoint them.
