Ondo Acting Governor Extols ODLG Boss for Her Laudable Achievements,Calls for More Synergy Between Govt,Citizens

Deaconess Akinsuroju spoke at the commissioning of Government Field-Olupitan Interchange bridge and fourteen other boreholes in Ore the headquarters and neighbouring communities of Odigbo Local Government Area of the State.
The immediate past council boss who posited that Ondo State is now far better than before the transition of power to governor Akeredolu,explained that despite a bulky debts and bad economic inherited from past administration,the government has made to pay worker's salaries and other arrears up till date.
While speaking on the cost of the newly commissioned projects, Deaconess Akinsuroju further stated that for such laudable achievements to continue, residents of the State need to contribute their quotas by paying their tax and other legitimate dues to Ondo State government through its agency at when due.
According to the outgoing Odigbo council chairman, Mrs Margret Akinsuroju: "Arakunrin has been so great to us in Ondo State as his name implies (Mr Talk and Do)
"The dividends enjoying in Odigbo today are part of the governor's socioeconomic policy drive
"Workers across 18 LG can attest to this that governor Akeredolu has cleared all debts including salaries and arrears owned by past administration"
"These are indications of good governance which all are expecting of where some states of the federation are still owning their workers several months salaries"

In a speech delivered by Acting governor of Ondo State, Lucky Ayedatiwa while officially unveiling of the project in Ore,the Acting governor maintained that citizens would continue to enjoy more dividends since the present administration is committed to provide an enabling haven suitable for businesses transaction capable to fend for economic prosperity of people of the State.
The Acting governor who was represented by Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro noted that provision of basic and social amenities is at the top gear of governor Akeredolu's led administration, insisting that Odigbo as predominantly occupied by farmers and business owners already known for as economic hub, however,it deserved more.
The straw man of the ministry noted that several achievements recorded so far in the state by Akeredolu's led-government would ever remain indelible as some of them aid in abating crime which could be traced down to the establishment of Ondo State Security Network, Amotekun Corps in efforts to flush out criminal elemets in the state to better security of life and properties of citizens.
The Chieftaincy Affairs commissioner also commended the people of the state for their selfless services to the development of the State,and absoluteness in their spiritual chat with God on recuperating governor, saying affirmatively that this critical time would soon be a pastime.
Alhaji Amidu Takuro, therefore urged citizens of the State irrespective of their religion and political divides not to renege in supporting the state government in its socioeconomic blueprints as intended by the present administration.
The Acting governor extolled the outgoing Odigbo local council chairman Mrs Margret Akinsuroju over what he termed gigantic projects,says that her commendable worth has definitely spoken volume.
His words: "These achievements are products of your understandings about the present administration in the State
"You annual taxes and other legitimate dues were collated to bring these projects into limelight"
"Your utmost cooperation is highly needed by the state government to better Ondo State"
"Odigbo LG being an economic stream of the state deserved more social amenity projects,and I can say more are underway before expiration of this present administration". The commissioner maintained
Some of the areas where those projects were commissioned include; a multimillion naira worth Aketi Bridge in Ore,11 boreholes which indicates 1 across each political Ward with additional, provision of solar electrification system and general painting of Odigbo Local Government Secretariat.
It would also be recalled that people across political divides including staff of Odigbo local government area of the State enjoy welfare packages from the outgoing council boss since inception of Deaconess Margret Akinsuroju in office
Present at the ceremony were the Ojomu of Ore Kingdom High Chief Monday Sawoju, the outgoing councilor of Ore Ward Eucharia Nwamara and members of Odigbo Council chapter of APC.
