As Sir Ezeorji Umenweke, Chief Wilfred Onyeama Charges Late Governor's Family On Unity

The Asiwaju of Igbos in Ondo, sir Ezeorji Umenweke has called on the immediate family of late governor Rotimi Akeredolu to take solace and continue to remain united despite the rude shock of the death of the former governor of Ondo State.
The foremost Ndigbo leader in the state spoke at the reception of late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu which was held at Midas Resort and Hotel Owo shortly after the interment service organized in honour of Late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu at Anglican cathedral Imola Owo in Owo local government area of the state.
Sir Umenweke, who described the late governor as a leader per excellence said his indelible marks would ever remain immortalize especially his strides for developmental strata in which roads and oyher infrastructural projects are not excluded.
He also noted that the imprints of late governor Akeredolu during the last presidential election can never be overemphasized, adding that the deceased championed the struggle which resulted to the zoning of presidency to the southern party the country, and consequently the emergence of President Bola Tinubu,saying Akeredoluwas a pathfinder to southerners.
The Onyendu of Igbos in the state, while urging wife of former governor, Chief Mrs Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu for standing firm behind her husband until his demise, appreciated her for integrating all Igbos residing in Ondo state.
It's noteworthy that the death of our inlaw came to us as a rude shock, and there's nothing one can do for that

In his comment, his counterpart, the Onyendu of Igbos Odigbo local government chapter, High Chief Wilfred Onyeama appreciate God in the life of the deceased, noting that the late Akeredolu has lived a fulfilled life before triumphantly joined the saints in the December last year.
The Ore-based business mogul therefore tasked residents to continue praying for family of the departed governor to give the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
