Asks people in the oil-rich region to cooperate with new executives
Member, Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP), has congratulated Prince Biyi Poroye who was appointed as chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission,(OSOPADEC) by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The chieftain of the ruling party in Odigbo Local Government Area of the State also commended the governor over the appointment of Hon. Aderonke Oladun as Non-Executive (part-time) member (Ondo south) of the commission.
Speaking on the development, Ifabiyi described Prince Biyi Poroye as a man of competence with solid educational background and large capacity to drive the development of mandate areas.
His congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued by the spokesperson to the lawmaker, following the announcement of the newly constituted committee of the board as released in an official statement of the governor through his Chief Press Secretary,Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan on Friday.
Ifabiyi applauded the State Governor, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa for appointing new board chairman and other members of OSOPADEC committee which he said it is a right step in a right direction as they would deploy their expertise to meet the huge expectations of the people.
In his words: “I know Prince Biyi Poroye and Hon Aderonke Oladun very well, their appointments is an appropriate one"

The Ondo State House of Assembly whip, however, urged the people of the oil-rich region to join hands with the new members of the board to enable them perform according to the mandat, stressing that it is only under a peaceful atmosphere they can achieve good success.
The lawnmower stated that: “I will just appeal to our people in the mandate areas – Ilaje / Ese Odo – Apoi and Arogbo that though the expectation is high collectively and at individual level, let us be patient with the new board.
"Since the announcement was made, it is clear that the chairman has been stepping up with new ideal of working as a team with other sections of the board to achieve the set goals".
