The lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, has congratulated the Orunja and Paramount ruler of Odigbo Kingdom, Oba ( Dr) Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade, as he celebrates his 60th birthday.
The lawmaker, in a statement on Saturday by his Press Secretary in Ore the headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area, described Oba Akinrinmade as “a visionary leader who deploys his extensive contact, goodwill and influence in the development of Odigbo as a prosperous town and as a centre of unity.”
Ifabiyi described the first-class monarch as an exemplary leader, who has been supportive of development efforts in Odigbo local government, and Ondo the State in general.
Ifabiyi added, “Standing strong, healthy and focused at 60 with an enviable record of accomplishments calls for celebration".
"Oba Olugboyega Akinrinmade’s love and commitment to the development of Odigbo local government is reflected in all his actions and cooperation with his subjects".
"The monarch is always ready to take on any responsibility that would fast-track the development of his people and Ondo state".
“Oba Akinrinmade's resourcefulness and generosity of spirit have also endeared him to all past and present chief executives of the state as well as political leaders based on his reputation for always providing wise counsels and interventions aimed at ensuring the state move in the right direction.”
Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, however, recalled the roles played by Oba Rufus Olugboyega during the previous elections in the state, stressing that the monarch is truly a great leader with huge and positive influence and who is untiring in championing good causes.
“Oba Akinrimade’s life has been a blessing not only to Odigbo indigenes but to the non-indigenes as well. He is a father figure to all, who is deserving of all the honour and celebration.
“Kabiyesi’s exemplary leadership contributes in no small way to making Odigbo local government,Ore as its capital, a peaceful and accommodating town where people from different parts of the country live, work and invest without any fear whatsoever.
”Today, Odigbo is home to everyone regardless of tribe, language, culture or religion. This accounts for the tremendous transformation and prosperity being witnessed in the town, it's environs, and we remain thankful to Kabiyesi for his exemplary leadership.
