Chairman, House Committee on Information in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ifabiyi Olatunji, has been conferred with Icon of Legislative Excellence award from the Topshot Media company, one of reputable media organisations in Ondo State.
The award, according to the organization, is in recognition of the lawmaker's exemplary legislative assignments as member of the state house of assembly, service to humanity and outstanding contributions to community development.
The prestigious award was presented by the Chief Executive Director of the media organisation, Mrs Ngozi Aduloju when she paid a courtesy visit to the lawmaker's lodge in Akure,the Ondo State capital on Tuesday.
Mrs Ngozi Aduloju was also accompanied by a female journalist, Mrs Oluwaseun Olowoselu-Akinbileje.
In his acceptance remarks, Jon. Ifabiyi Samuel Olatunji expressed profound gratitude to the Topshot News Organisation for the honour bestowed upon him.
He described the award as a great motivation to continue his commitment to perform his legislative assignments creditably, support in human advancement, community development and general upliftment
He further commended the Topshot media company for its unwavering dedication to disseminating adequate and accurate information as reportage on government's policies and programmes noting that information remains the bedrock to socio-economic growth of any of any nation like Nigeria .
Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, however, pledged his continued support and partnership with the Topshot News outfit and other media Organizations in the state as a medium employed for effective communication between him and people at the grassroots aimed at fostering for sustainable community growth.
