...Lauds Developmental Leadership

Ondo State lawmaker, Akoni Ifabiyi Olatunji (JP), has congratulated the Akogbe of Ajue Kingdom, HRM Oba Bamidele Akinwe, on his birthday, describing the monarch as a visionary and exemplary traditional ruler whose leadership has continued to foster peace, unity and development in Ajue Kingdom and Ondo State.

In a statement issued on Monday, the lawmaker said Oba Bamidele has consistently deployed his influence, goodwill and wide network of contacts to advance the socio-economic growth of Ajue, describing him as a committed partner in the state's development efforts.

He said the monarch's "love and commitment to the development of Ajue and Ondo State are reflected in all his actions and cooperation with the state government," adding that the traditional ruler has remained steadfast in supporting initiatives aimed at accelerating development in his kingdom and beyond.

Ifabiyi also praised Oba Bamidele's resourcefulness and generosity, noting that his wise counsel and interventions have earned him the admiration of successive administrations and political leaders in the state.

The lawmaker recalled the monarch's contributions to the struggle for the creation of the Irepodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Odigbo Local Government Area, describing him as a leader who has remained unwavering in championing causes that benefit his people.

According to him, the monarch's inclusive leadership has made Ajue a peaceful and accommodating community where people of different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds live and conduct their businesses without fear.

"Today, Ajue is home to everyone regardless of tribe, language, culture or religion. This accounts for the tremendous transformation and prosperity being witnessed in the town, and we remain grateful to Kabiyesi for his exemplary leadership," he said.

Ifabiyi described the royal father as a father figure whose life has positively impacted both indigenes and non-indigenes, praying for continued good health, long life and many more fruitful years on the throne.

He said, "On behalf of my wife, my family and the good people of Onisere in Irepodun LCDA, I congratulate Kabiyesi, HRM Oba Bamidele Akinwe, and wish him good health, long life and more impactful years on the throne of his forebears."
