Supporters in Ondo North vow to deliver 100 percent votes for Tinubu
As State's DG,others highlight the president's scorecard, commend interior minister
A prominent support group under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), calling for the re-election of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Grassroots Movement for Tinubu, (GMT), has urged all members of the ruling party in Ondo and other states of the federation to re-elect the President for another term comes 2027 presidential election.
The group, led by its state director general, Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye who made the appeal,spoke while inaugurating local government and ward executives in Owo and Ose Local Governments Area of the state on Wednesday.
Yusuf-Ogunleye listed the achievements of the President to include; building ‘human’ bridges, regional integration and infrastructural drives across the six geopolitical zones of the country,tasked the people to embark on door the door campaign in their dialects for effective communication on the achievements of President Bola Tinubu.
He said the construction of Akure-Ondo- Ore, and Lagos-Calabar federal highway are some of the testaments of president Tinubu's renewed hope agenda, adding that the newly established Southwest Development Commission(SDC) by president Tinubu is aimed at fast tracking several development to the region.
Ogunleye called on the leadership of the ruling party in Ondo State to be wary of persons or group who may be nursing another agenda to frustrate President Tinubu's re-election bid,just as he paid special homage to late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN,CON

According to him "we are here to inaugurate our local and ward executives and to sensitise people at the grassroots on the need to re-elect president Tinubu in 2027"
"Don't be distracted by those involved in the ongoing campaign of calumny and spread of deliberate falsehood to create disaffection"
“Our members should campaign vigorously and enlighten the electorate on why they should keep these enemies of mankind out of circulation.”

Also speaking at the inauguration exercise,the State secretary of the group,Rasheed Badmus who described the large turnout of APC loyalists in the area as impressive, charged those in agrarian communities in northern part of the state to complement the president's efforts by mobilising support for his re-election in 2027.
The former commissioner in Ondo state, therefore, commended the convener and the minister of interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-ojo for being in support of the president, reaffirming the commitment of GMT in the state to deliver the mandate for President Bola Tinubu.
Across session of elders of the ruling party in the area, therefore, described Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a leader per excellence who had at previous time won elections for notable past leaders, advised Nigerians to mobilise for the president ahead of 2027 presidential race in Nigeria
