Inaugurates Ondo East/Ondo West LGs executives
....Tasks the group's organ on constructive ideology,feedback
The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT), has said President Bola Tinubu is the best candidate for the 2027 general elections, noting that there is no vacancy for any presidential candidate.
The director general of the group in Ondo State Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye which stated this at the inauguration of its members in Ondo East and Ondo West federal constituency,noted that the president has done so much for the marginalised statement and Nigeria in general to warrant a second term.
Reacting to comments raised by members of the group in the area, the GMT director general in the state informed all the newly inaugurated executives not to be distracted by voices from suspecting individual, adding that GMT is under the ruling party in Nigeria.
Ogunleye explained that he had earlier notified speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly speaker Rt. Hon Olamide Oladiji hours to the official inauguration ceremony of group's executives and who also submitted name of Olamide Ifedayo as GMT coordinator for Ondo East.
He urged all GMT members in the state to remain steadfast, committed and loyal to the constituted authority and to the task ahead through constructive ideology and feedback, tasking them to evangelise the track records of president Bola Tinubu and as well the need to re-elect him in 2027.
Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye further lauded the president on the approval and construction of the Akure-Ado, Akure-Ondo- Ore road, noting that, “we also express our appreciation to President Tinubu for his approval of the long-overdue dualization of the Akure-Ondo-Ore road".
"GMT has come to stay in Ondo and beyond, firmly committed to mobilise support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027".
"As I always say, we're battle ready to re-elect the president under any atmosphere situation".
"This principle has ensured national stability, and as President Tinubu is only in his first term, fairness dictates that he should be allowed to complete a second term if he so chooses and the electorate supports him".

“We firmly believe that Nigeria is on the right path under his leadership, and as we look ahead to 2027, we must consolidate these gains. Re-electing President Tinubu is not just a political decision; it is a necessity for the continued progress of our people.
GMT secretary in Ondo State, Hon. Rasheed Badmus however, expressed confidence that the newly inaugurated executives would expand the group's ideology to people in all the political wards in the area, commended leaders of the group I n the two local government areas of the federal constituency for the large turnout of members.
In their separate reactions, Ondo East coordinator Olumide Ifedayo, his Ondo West counterpart Alhaj Kaleed Akinbani and a representative of Hausa community in the area, Aliyu Sanni promised to mobilise support for president Bola Tinubu's re-election in the forthcoming general elections in the country.
According to them "We pledge to mobilize, organize, and work tirelessly to ensure his second term, because we believe that his administration is the best chance we have to cement the inclusion of Northern minorities in Nigeria’s governance.”
Deaconess Lola Fagbemi,the immediate past Commissioner for women affairs and special adviser on gender and documentation in the state, Chief (Mrs) Olamide Falana appreciated the convener of GMT in Ondo State Dr Olubunmi Tunji-ojo for providing financial and moral supports for members of the group in the state.
The GMT official inauguration ceremony was also witnessed by a member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, and other notable leaders of All Progressives Congress in Ondo State.
